SMS Consent & Opt-In
Effective date: August 27, 2026
Who sends messages
Text messages from Peninsula Logic LLC (“Peninsula Logic,” “we,” “us”) are sent by Jonathan Tucker, the owner, from our business line at +1 (231) 487-6869. Peninsula Logic is a Michigan-based technology and IT services company at 7851 Maple River Road, Brutus, Michigan 49716.
What we send & how often
We send low-volume, two-way SMS to consented clients only. Message types include service-status updates, appointment and meeting confirmations, and per-action permission requests. Message frequency varies with the engagement and is generally a handful of messages per client per week. Message and data rates may apply from your carrier.
How you opt in
We accept SMS consent through three explicit paths. In every path we identify ourselves as Peninsula Logic, state the purpose of the messages, and disclose message frequency, rates, and how to stop.
Path 1 — Verbal opt-in during a call or meeting
Peninsula Logic (Jonathan Tucker) verbally requests your mobile number, states the purpose (“service updates, appointment confirmations, and permission requests from Peninsula Logic”), and reads the following disclosure verbatim before recording the number:
“Message frequency is low volume. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out. Reply HELP for help. Our privacy policy is at peninsulalogic.com/privacy.”
You verbally consent (for example, “yes, please text me”). Peninsula Logic then sends the confirmation SMS shown below.
Path 2 — Written opt-in on a signed engagement document
Our proposal and engagement letter templates include a dedicated SMS-consent block with an unchecked box next to the following language:
☐ “I authorize Peninsula Logic LLC to send SMS messages to the mobile number above regarding service updates, appointment confirmations, and permission requests. I understand message frequency is low volume, message and data rates may apply, and I may reply STOP at any time to opt out or HELP for help. I have read the Privacy Policy at peninsulalogic.com/privacy and the Terms of Service at peninsulalogic.com/terms.”
You must actively check the box and sign the document. Peninsula Logic then sends the confirmation SMS shown below.
Path 3 — Inbound text to our number
You text Peninsula Logic first at +1 (231) 487-6869. Peninsula Logic replies with the confirmation SMS shown below, which discloses purpose, frequency, rates, STOP/HELP, and the privacy URL. Continued conversation is treated as ongoing consent; you may reply STOP at any time to revoke.
Confirmation message you will receive
“Peninsula Logic: You’re now opted in to receive service updates, appointment confirmations, and permission requests. Msg frequency varies (low volume). Msg&data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help, STOP to opt out. https://peninsulalogic.com/privacy/”
How to stop
Reply STOP to any message from us at any time and we will stop sending SMS to that number. We honor STOP immediately. Reply HELP for assistance, or email contact@peninsulalogic.com or call +1 (231) 487-6869.
No sharing for third-party marketing
Peninsula Logic does not sell your mobile number or opt-in information. We do not share mobile opt-in information with any third party for their marketing purposes. Message content is handled only by our SMS provider (Twilio) as necessary to deliver messages you have consented to receive.
